Born and raised in Maryland, Greg was fortunate to grow up in a boating family. His interest in boats began early aboard his family’s vessels while cruising the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. Fascinated by different makes and models, he quickly became a wealth of maritime knowledge. At just 13, Greg helped find and purchase the family’s next vessel—a 44’ Pacemaker Motor Yacht—in 1972. Having already completed several Power Squadron courses, he was often found at the helm when she was underway. As Greg’s experience on the Chesapeake Bay deepened, so did his horizons. He expanded his cruising to include the U.S. East Coast, Gulf, and open oceans—safely delivering tens of thousands of miles for clients and helping them realize their dreams on the water with confidence and professionalism.
